USSHC Monticello, IA - 1/23/12: Dear client, This is a notice that srv6 and isolated cloud accounts are down for emergency maintenance as of this morning. On 1/22/12, a Hypervisor failed and the auto-failover system moved cloud instances to a healthy Hypervisor (hot-migrated). However, during the process, the filesystem went read-only due to an inconsistency. We are now running a required filesystem check in order to boot the machine. We are practicing an over-abundance of caution and spent the last many hours backing up the current data just in case there are problems with the filesystem checking (FSCK) procedure. We also have daily, weekly, and monthly backups but wanted to ensure up-to-minute data in the unlikely event of a worst case scenario. The data is safe and the filesystem check should complete soon. Email/web/etc will be restored as soon as humanly possible and probably within the next 2 hours. Please avoid filing support tickets or calling as we will update everyone if the problem is taking longer than anticipated to resolve. As can be expected, we are quite busy with the situation at hand and receiving a high volume of support requests. Thank you for your continued business and our sincere apologies for any problems that this situation has caused you.
